Day 1️⃣2️⃣…While cleaning your face is the first step to healthy skin, exfoliating your face is just as important. As you age your skins ability to shed dull and dead skin cells begins to slow down. When it slows down it interferes with the absorption of skin care products because they can’t penetrate as easily. Exfoliation removes the dull dead skin cells creating an increase of oxygen, circulation, and surfacing radiant, healthy skin once again. Smooth skin makes for better moisture absorption and better foundation application. So what do you use to exfoliate? Never use a body scrub. It’s usually too harsh for your face. There are a lot of face scrubs on the market for you to choose from. My favorite way to exfoliate is using a gentle cleanser scrub in combination with the Clarisonic brush. Your skin will literally feel like it just got a facial. Do this a few times a week for beautiful healthy skin.
