Day 1️⃣8️⃣…When we think of skin care we sometimes forget about our scalp as part of skin care. With so many hair care products we put in our hair a clarifying shampoo is a must in your shower. While shampoo is formulated to remove dirt and oil, clarifying shampoos are formulated to remove build up. And build up doesn’t just happen on the hair, it can also happen on your scalp leaving it dry over time. The more products you use the more you need a product, to not only remove buildup, but to also help restore shine. How often should you use clarifying shampoos? Every two to four weeks, unless you use a lot of hair products, then once a week. If your hair is color treated I wouldn’t use it because it can make your color fade quicker. My daughter has an exorbitant amount of curly hair so using a clarifying shampoo is key to keeping her hair and scalp healthy. Just be careful not to use it too often as it’s a super deep cleanser leaving nothing behind.
