Day 2️⃣7️⃣…Collagen is the most abundant protein in skin. Collagen is found in the dermis and elastic tissue that gives skin its fullness and is the main compound in connective tissue. While we produce collagen every day, after age 25 we lose more collagen than we produce thanks to sun exposure and pollution. This when we start to see signs of aging. While drinking collagen may not reverse wrinkles it has been known to improve skin elasticity and reduce joint pain. It’s not a miracle worker and I’m not sure if it makes a major difference in your skin but I can tell you it does help with joint pain.
