30 Days of Skin Care – Day 4

Day 4️⃣…Keeping your lips healthy is a part of skin care. The skin on your lips is thin so they get dry and chapped easily. While lip balms help keep your lips moisturized, they work better when lips are exfoliated. Using a lip scrub twice a week does the trick. If you purchase one make sure it’s all natural, or better yet, have fun making one at home. It’s quick and easy. As the base I like to use coconut oil, olive oil or jojoba oil. You can also use castor, sunflower, avocado, or sweet almond oil. Next ingredient is sugar. I personally only use caster sugar because the grain is super fine. Remember, you want to gently exfoliate, not irritate the lips. Have fun with the last ingredient. If can be honey, lavender, vanilla, rose petals, lemon balm, mint, or whatever your favorite ingredient is. Just don’t make it so yummy you want to eat it. 🤣 And don’t forget soft lips make for sweeter kisses. 💋
