Today is about tapping into your creative child. That means coloring, drawing or just plain doodling. I want you to grab some paper, a coloring book, journal or even your day planner and get creative. Then get a hold of your favorite tools (gel pens, markers, colored pencils, pastels, chalk). Don’t have any? Steal some crayons from your kids box (okay maybe not steal but borrow). Got all your supplies? Now color inside a pattern or free form color (for those who don’t like staying inside the lines) or simply draw or doodle. This is called free therapy. This process isn’t just fun but it’s actually good for your health and happiness. This creative outlet stops our minds from wandering and helps ease loneliness, boredom and anxiety. I call that a win win! So today, doodle away!
